How to play AniGame

AniGame is a free-to-play anime JRPG Discord bot. Collect character cards and skins, develop battle cards and teams, clear floors, raid with friends and trade with other players. You play in Discord; this website provides references and companion tools.

You do not need a perfect team or a rare collection to begin learning. Your first goal is to understand your inventory, select a usable card and try a floor battle. Optional donations support the project, but you can start playing without paying.

Join a server that already has AniGame or use the official invite to add it to a server you manage. Play in a channel where the bot is available, and select AniGame's commands in Discord's slash picker.

Open /inventory to see what you own. Use /info card_num:1 to inspect the card currently in inventory position 1. If you do not yet have a card to use, check /drop when available and follow the drop's claim controls, or inspect the bot's available starter and reward prompts.

A character can have many owned copies. Inventory numbers, global card IDs and skin IDs are not interchangeable. Recheck the inventory after sorting or changing your collection, and favorite cards you want to keep before trying any upgrade that consumes copies.

Select a usable card from your inventory. For ordinary floor progression, your single selected card matters; creating a saved team does not replace this selection. Browse /location and /floor to see where you are and what is unlocked.

Start with one /battle. Read the result before repeating it: did the card survive, did it have a useful element matchup, and does its talent suit this opponent? A loss is a reason to inspect the card and encounter, not to spend every upgrade resource immediately.

Raids are cooperative encounters with a lobby, preparation stage and active battle. Before joining, ask which difficulty the group is playing and whether you meet its requirements. Create and inspect a saved team, assign it to raid mode, then tell the leader when you are ready.

Use /raid lobbies to inspect public groups or join with a code a friend shares. Do not mark ready until you have checked the boss, team and available resources. The raid guide walks through both participant and leader responsibilities.

Browse before buying. Compare the exact character, rarity, evolution, ascension, skin and usability of a card. A low price for a different copy is not automatically a bargain for your team.

Market purchases use global card IDs; auctions use auction IDs; adding trade cards uses inventory numbers. Prefer /mk buy for its confirmation step. In a direct trade, inspect both sides again after any change and only confirm the offer you intend to accept.

Pick a small goal: clear an unlocked floor, improve one useful card, find a favorite character or prepare for a friend's raid. Saving toward a specific goal is easier to evaluate than buying or upgrading at random.
