⚙️ Trade & Compare Upgrades
📊 Compare Improvements
- The Compare command has received a visual overhaul and has been upgraded to use our new message components.
- The updated design is cleaner, faster, more compact, and makes comparisons much easier to read at a glance.
🤝 Trade Improvements
- We've heard your feedback regarding the recent changes to trades, particularly around them feeling different and becoming harder to keep track of.
- While we believe these visual and structural changes are important for improving the trading system long-term, we also want to make the experience easier to follow.
To help with this, trades will now take place inside dedicated threads.
When you initiate a trade with another player and they confirm:
- A private trade thread will automatically be created.
- Only you, the other player, and AniGame will be able to access the thread.
- Both players can chat and add or manage their trade items directly within the thread.
- The thread will automatically close once the trade is confirmed or cancelled.
🆔 Unique Trade IDs
Every trade will also receive its own unique Trade ID.
These IDs will:
- Make it easier for players to keep track of specific trades.
- Help our support team quickly locate trades when assisting with support tickets.
- Allow us to introduce additional features in the future, including a Trade Logs command that will let players locate and revisit their previous trades.
These changes are another step toward making AniGame's trading system cleaner, easier to manage, and more scalable for future improvements.
Note: Thread permissions will need to be enabled for AniGame in your server.
For now, this permission is not required. If AniGame does not have access to create or use threads, the trade will continue directly in the channel instead.
However, we recommend enabling thread permissions going forward, as they will be required to take full advantage of the updated trading system and future trade-related features.
